Optometric Technician

What you'll do

• Facilitate patient flow
• assist the doctor with preliminary testing
• verify medical and vision insurance
• communicate with patients, doctors, and managers
• answer inquiries by phone, email, and in person
• operate manual and automatic lensometers, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual field, GDX, or OCT equipment
• follow testing equipment scripts
• clean examination equipment
• perform assigned general office duties and cleaning.
