The Back Office Medical Assistant role is onsite in Lakewood, CA, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Compensation is $23–$25 per hour. ProHealth Partners is a multispecialty physician group serving patients through clinics across Southern California. The Medical Assistant supports providers and patients in a busy clinical office. The role prepares patients for visits, records clinical information, performs specified tests and procedures, and helps maintain patient confidentiality and continuity of care.
What you'll do
- Take and record vital signs
- prepare and escort patients to exam rooms
- review and document medical history
- collect and label specimens
- administer injections, draw blood, and perform EKGs
- assist providers with patient care
- maintain patient confidentiality.
