The Diet Clerk role is onsite at Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, NH. Pay is $20–$21 per hour. Unidine’s culinary team supports patient services at the hospital and works to enhance the lives of those it serves. Under the direction of the Patient Services Manager or Clinical Nutrition Manager, the clerk supports patient menu management, data collection, and diet office functions. The role helps ensure menu selections and nutrition-related items are handled in accordance with prescribed diets and facility procedures.

What you'll do

• Distribute and collect menus
• assist patients with menu selections in accordance with prescribed diets and dietitian direction
• offer permitted alternatives for allergies, sensitivities, and cultural, ethnic, or religious preferences
• plan regular and modified menus using the current diet manual
• prepare and distribute supplements, tube feedings, and enteral formula
• complete documentation
• follow confidentiality, HIPAA, regulatory, and infection-control requirements
• participate in performance improvement activities.
