What you'll do

  • Design low-voltage electrical power distribution systems for gas turbine auxiliary equipment
  • develop diagrams, schedules, plans, layouts, and drawing packages
  • calculate equipment sizing, cable and conduit spacing, and illumination levels
  • maintain bills of materials and design documentation
  • review and develop wiring diagrams and cable lists using SmartPlant Electrical, SmartPlant Instrumentation, and SmartPlant 3D
  • assist with purchase specifications and vendor selection
  • interpret applicable electrical codes and respond to technical inquiries
  • support project schedules, manufacturing, and commissioning
  • assist junior engineers and interns
  • travel up to 10% for project requirements.
