The Medical Review Nurse (RN) – Remote role is remote within eligible U.S. states; applicants must live and work in an eligible state, and several states are excluded in the posting. Compensation is $31.25 per hour. The role supports medical-record validation for the CMS End Stage Renal Disease Quality Reporting System and the CDC National Healthcare Safety Network. The nurse compares ESRD medical records with submitted reporting data, classifies discrepancies, and participates in quality-control activities. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, 40 hours per week; the assignment is a six-month contract with possible extension or conversion.

What you'll do

• Review ESRD medical records against EQRS and NHSN submissions to assess accuracy and timely reporting
• classify discrepancies by type and severity, including missing data, incorrect values, and data entered in the wrong fields
• participate in quality-control activities
• assist with special projects as assigned.

Why this role
