What you'll do

Requires an associate’s degree in nursing, one year of nursing or patient-care experience, Virginia RN licensure or compact-state nursing licensure, and BLS certification. ACLS is required for designated step-down units, including 4B
- new-to-practice-area nurses or new graduates have one year to complete specialty requirements.
