Certified Surgical Technologist — Evening Shift

The Certified Surgical Technologist role is onsite in Rochester, NY, for a 13-week assignment. The evening schedule is 1:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m., four 10-hour shifts per week. Traveler pay is $45–$50 per hour. The role supports operating-room teams across multiple surgical service lines. The technologist prepares operating rooms, instruments, supplies, and sterile fields; anticipates surgeon needs; and supports safe, aseptic procedures. The role contributes to surgical team readiness, infection control, and accurate handling of counts and specimens.

What you'll do

• Prepare and maintain operating rooms, instruments, supplies, and sterile fields
• pass instruments
• perform surgical counts and specimen handling
• maintain aseptic technique
• assist with decontamination, sterilization, and equipment preparation
• participate in Universal Protocol and Time-Out procedures
• collaborate with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia, and operating-room staff
• follow infection-control and sharps-safety standards.
