Coach, Elevate Academy

Job overview

The Coach, Elevate Academy role is onsite in Provo, UT, with compensation of $15–$17 per hour. Elevate Academy is a co-ed residential treatment program supporting adolescents with trauma, mood disorders, adoption and attachment issues, and similar diagnoses. The coach provides supervised mentoring and support to help students progress through treatment, practice self-regulation, and use therapeutic tools in daily activities. The role contributes to a safe, supportive environment by implementing treatment plans and guiding students through activities and challenging moments.

What you'll do

• Build emotionally supportive relationships with students
• implement clinical treatment plans as outlined by the Treatment Team
• maintain a safe and caregiving environment
• participate in activities that help students develop skills
• use mediation and intervention techniques to redirect students who need support during escalated moments
• transport students to and from off-campus appointments and activities using company vehicles.

Why this role

Schedule options include Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, either 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. or 2:30 p.m.–10:00 p.m.; includes one Sunday rotation every four weeks, 8:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m. Applicants must be at least 20, have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record for student transport, and be able to provide interventions such as safety holds.
