CNC Tube Laser Operator

The CNC Tube Laser Operator role is in person at a manufacturing facility in Charlotte, NC. Compensation is $25–$27 per hour, with first-shift hours of 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. or second-shift hours of 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m. MLB Workforce is recruiting for a steel fabrication and processing company. The operator sets up and runs CNC tube laser equipment to cut steel stock to specification, using fabrication drawings and measurement tools to verify quality. The role supports accurate production through routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and safe material handling.

What you'll do

• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC tube laser cutting systems for steel tubes, pipes, and structural profiles
• load raw steel stock and safely unload finished parts
• interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders
• inspect finished parts with calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
• perform daily preventive maintenance, including nozzle changes and lens cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
