Reliability Engineer

The Reliability Engineer role is onsite in Rocky Mount, VA. The US base salary range is $90,000–$105,000 per year, plus bonus. The role supports equipment reliability and maintenance effectiveness within Cornerstone Building Brands’ Rocky Mount Model Line. The role partners with Operations, skilled trades, and Engineering to improve equipment condition, preventive maintenance, and reliability. It uses maintenance data and structured problem-solving to reduce recurring failures and improve uptime and maintenance performance.

What you'll do

• Lead Autonomous Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance pillar implementation
• establish equipment-loss baselines and prioritize problem equipment
• coordinate cleaning, inspection, abnormality tagging, and restoration
• develop cleaning, inspection, and lubrication standards
• analyze CMMS and maintenance history
• conduct breakdown and root-cause analysis
• track MTBF and MTTR
• improve preventive-maintenance standards and work orders
• support critical-spare strategies
• lead activity-board reviews
• coach operators and maintenance teams.
