The Alcohol and Drug Counselor Intern role is onsite in Mora, MN, with a Monday–Friday schedule. Compensation is $15 per hour. The intern works under the Clinical Director at Recovering Hope Treatment Center, supporting people pursuing recovery and long-term wellness. The intern gains supervised clinical experience while assisting with assessments, treatment planning, counseling, education, and continuing care planning. The work supports clients’ recovery and coordination with the broader care team.

What you'll do

• Conduct assessments and required surveys
• develop and update individualized service and treatment plans with clients
• facilitate individual and group chemical dependency counseling and education
• document participation and progress
• communicate with clinical staff
• coordinate referrals and continuing care planning
• support clients’ recovery networks
• may assist with housekeeping, kitchen duties, light maintenance, and other center needs.
