Dental Assistant

The Dental Assistant role is onsite in Lexington Park, MD, in an outpatient office environment. Compensation is $25–$30 per hour. Greater Baden Medical Services is a Federally Qualified Health Center providing integrated healthcare services across Southern Maryland, including dental care. The role prepares patients and treatment rooms, assists the dentist during care, and supports diagnostic, infection-control, documentation and supply processes. It contributes to safe, organized dental services for the health center’s patients.

What you'll do

• Prepare treatment rooms and patients
• assist the dentist with instruments and materials
• expose and develop radiographic studies
• support laboratory work and temporary restorations
• provide oral hygiene and postoperative instructions
• document care
• maintain confidentiality, infection control and a clean work environment
• monitor dental equipment and supplies. Driving between Greater Baden Medical Services locations is required.
