What you'll do

• Chainman: assist the crew chief
• carry, set up, and maintain survey equipment
• hold and mark measurement points
• drive stakes, hubs, and lath
• clear brush as needed
• care for equipment and vehicles
• follow safety procedures. Party Chief: lead the field crew
• plan and execute boundary, topographic, and construction-staking work
• oversee survey equipment and data collection
• maintain field notes and electronic data
• coordinate with project managers, office staff, and clients
• maintain equipment and enforce safety procedures.
