Counter Sorter

Job overview

The Counter Sorter role is onsite in Nashville, TN, with pay of $15 per hour. Alsco Uniforms provides uniform and linen rental services, and this position reports to the Production Manager. The role handles incoming soiled textiles and sorts, counts, and records them so they can be routed to the appropriate departments. Accurate identification and documentation help maintain production flow and support customer service operations.

What you'll do

• Open bags of soiled textiles and sort items by type, size, and color
• count textiles manually or electronically and transfer them into sorting systems
• identify damaged or abused textiles and record them
• follow efficiency, safety, and personal protective equipment requirements
• work in a team and flex across tasks based on daily operational needs.
