Behavioral Health Therapist

Job overview

The Behavioral Health Therapist role is onsite in Waverly, OH, at an outpatient office. Compensation is $37–$45 per year. The therapist reports to the Clinical Supervisor and provides outpatient behavioral health services for children, adolescents, adults, and families. The role provides counseling, diagnostic interviews, assessments, and treatment planning to support clients’ well-being. It contributes to coordinated care through therapy, progress documentation, referrals, and collaboration with clients, families, and other care providers.

What you'll do

• Provide individual and group strengths-based therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families
• conduct counseling, diagnostic interviews, and assessments
• develop and monitor treatment plans
• document services and client progress
• collaborate with clients, families, physicians, nurse practitioners, case management, referral sources, and agencies
• provide referrals
• participate in care conferences and case reviews
• maintain an active, unrestricted Ohio clinical counseling license.

Why this role

Requires a master’s degree in social work or clinical counseling, or a bachelor’s degree in social work with a valid LSW license; requires LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC licensure and at least three years of clinical experience, including one year in outpatient care.
