The Child Care Assistant Chef / Driver role is onsite in Santa Ana, CA. Compensation is $20–$22 per hour. Training and Research Foundation is a California nonprofit focused on early childhood education for families across Orange and Riverside Counties. The role supports children’s health and early learning programs by helping prepare nutritious meals and safely deliver meals and supplies to designated centers. It also maintains food records and a clean, sanitary kitchen environment while accommodating children’s dietary needs.

What you'll do

• Transport meals, food supplies, and program materials between designated locations
• load and deliver items while maintaining food temperature controls
• assist with preparing and serving meals and snacks
• follow CACFP meal patterns and portion requirements
• modify meals for allergies, dietary restrictions, and cultural preferences
• maintain production records, menus, and inventory logs
• receive and store supplies
• clean kitchen areas and equipment
• and communicate meal schedules and dietary needs with site staff.
