What you'll do
- Open and close secured facilities
- patrol and search courthouse areas for contraband and weapons
- protect judicial officials, jurors, witnesses, and the public
- monitor entrances and corridors
- maintain courtroom order and prisoner custody
- respond to emergencies
- coordinate with law enforcement
- investigate and report incidents
- enforce court policies and rules
- provide basic emergency care when appropriate
- use de-escalation and perform security-related duties as directed.
