Compensation is $42–$42 per hour. The Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical Trauma role is onsite in Saint Louis, MO; The role supports a short-term acute-care, Magnet and teaching hospital that is a Level I Trauma Center. The nurse cares for medical-surgical trauma patients arriving from the emergency department, operating room, or intensive care unit. The role contributes to coordinated trauma and acute-care treatment through assessment, monitoring, procedures, and collaboration with the care team; floating within scope may be required.

What you'll do

• Provide medical-surgical trauma nursing care
• interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• administer blood products and provide peripheral-line care, phlebotomy, IV starts, insulin, and PCA care
• support care involving spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, orthopedic trauma, surgical drains, chest tubes, respiratory support, wound care, and isolation precautions
• float within scope to meet facility needs.
