Staff Project Engineer — In-Space Propulsion

The Staff Project Engineer role is onsite in Durango, CO, with an expected salary range of $140,000–$215,000 per year. Agile Space Industries designs, builds, and tests in-space propulsion systems for spacecraft missions. The engineer coordinates technical execution across multidisciplinary teams so propulsion hardware development stays aligned with technical objectives, cost, schedule, and program priorities. The position manages development plans and milestones, supports technical decisions and risk management, maintains technical baselines, and coordinates reviews and customer deliverables.

What you'll do

• Manage product development plans, technical logic, work packages, priorities, and milestones
• coordinate execution across engineering, manufacturing, test, supply chain, quality, suppliers, and customers
• partner with Program Management on technical objectives, resources, cost, and schedule
• facilitate technical decisions and resolve cross-functional issues
• coordinate technical risks and opportunities
• maintain technical baselines and changes
• manage technical documentation, reviews, and customer deliverables
• align execution with Systems Engineering, Product Leads, and Technical Fellows.
