Maintenance Technician — Third Shift, Sunday–Thursday

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Morrisville, NC, working Sunday–Thursday from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Compensation is $32.31 per hour plus a $1.20 shift differential. The technician supports Clorox’s Maintenance and Production teams, keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently. The role troubleshoots and repairs equipment and performs general maintenance across production, packaging, facilities, and utility systems. Preventive and corrective work helps maintain production flow and reduce equipment downtime while meeting plant procedures and standards.

What you'll do

• Practice safe work habits and follow safety processes
• comply with cGMP and GDP policies
• complete assigned work promptly
• maintain tools and clean work areas
• participate in training and shift meetings
• perform corrective and preventive maintenance on manufacturing, packaging, facilities, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, process, and utility equipment
• participate in root-cause and continuous-improvement teams
• coach and train operators on equipment setup and maintenance tasks
• use SAP to review schedules and work orders
• install and replace machine parts
• manage parts inventory and requisitions
• lubricate equipment
• identify faulty equipment
• use diagnostic and shop tools
• prepare maintenance reports
• support capital and internal projects
• operate forklifts and shop mobile equipment as needed.
