Agreement Specialist, Professional III is a hybrid role based in Golden, CO, with onsite work required 2–3 days per week. The specialist negotiates and administers sponsored research agreements that enable researchers and external partners to collaborate and move innovations toward real-world applications. The role works across research, business development, legal, and finance teams to resolve complex contractual issues and ensure agreements meet applicable requirements.

What you'll do

• Draft, edit, and finalize research contracts and agreements
• negotiate, obtain approvals for, close, and administer funded or cost-share sponsored research agreements
• manage CRADAs, SPP agreements, and other agreements
• advise management on negotiation roadblocks
• maintain agreement data
• coordinate contracting parameters with technical staff
• train staff as needed
• liaise with DOE
• ensure compliance with DOE policies
• collaborate with business development, legal, finance, and researchers.
