What you'll do

• Welcome and prepare patients for visits
• obtain medical histories and vital signs
• update electronic medical records
• assist providers with examinations and treatment
• perform appropriate point-of-care tests within skill, certification, and regulatory limits
• maintain supplies and clean treatment rooms
• complete pre-visit planning
• monitor required logs and checks
• address voicemails and electronic record inbox messages
• provide backup front-office support when needed
• follow HIPAA guidelines.
