Housing Stabilization Coach

The Housing Stabilization Coach works onsite in Sioux Falls, SD. Pay is $17.79–$25.11 per hour, depending on education and experience. The role supports individuals and families who are homeless, near-homeless, or low-income in moving toward stable housing and self-sufficiency. Through coaching and case management, the coach helps participants address barriers, understand lease requirements, build housing-maintenance skills, and connect with community resources. The work combines individual meetings, family support, and small-group planning to help clients make progress toward immediate needs and longer-term goals.

What you'll do

• Provide housing stabilization coaching and case management support
• meet with applicants to understand needs and barriers involving finances, employment, food, clothing, housing, and physical or mental impairments
• help participants follow lease requirements and build skills to maintain housing
• connect clients with community resources and partner organizations
• help families locate and evaluate programs and make warm handoffs.
