The Cook role is onsite in Akron, OH. Compensation is $13–$15 per hour. This position prepares food for the Hot Choice Buffet at a Golden Corral franchise operated by Scott's GC, LLC. The Cook prepares and grills buffet items, maintains food quality and temperature, and keeps the hot-cook area clean and organized. The role supports consistent, fresh food service for guests while following recipes, production procedures, and local health requirements.

What you'll do

• Prepare buffet products according to recipes and procedures
• grill items to standards and keep fried products fresh
• restock display cooking items or assist guests with carved meat when needed
• maintain product temperatures
• track inventory and rotate food using FIFO
• complete opening and closing procedures
• maintain equipment and cleanliness
• follow health department requirements
• assist guests courteously.
