Machine Operator, Tornos and Bechler

The Machine Operator, Tornos and Bechler works onsite in Elkhorn, WI, on a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., approximately 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed. Pay is $20–$24 per hour. The role supports precision manufacturing at Reader Precision Solutions. The operator loads raw materials, runs and adjusts Tornos/Bechler machines, and checks finished parts against specifications using precision measuring equipment. The position also includes routine machine maintenance, production recordkeeping, safety practices, and collaboration with engineering and quality colleagues to support production and product quality.

What you'll do

• Operate Tornos/Bechler machines to job specifications, drawings, and quality standards
• load raw materials and monitor machining
• inspect dimensions with precision measuring equipment
• adjust settings
• perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and component replacement
• inspect finished parts
• follow safety procedures
• record production and quality information
• collaborate with engineers and quality inspectors.
