The Dental Biller/Coder role is onsite in Kalispell, MT; remote work is not available. Compensation is not specified. The role supports quality patient care and timely reimbursement by accurately coding, billing, and documenting claims. Working with providers, clinical staff, insurers, and the billing team, the coder helps resolve discrepancies, manage denials, and maintain compliance with payer and healthcare requirements.

What you'll do

• Review, code, and submit dental, medical, and behavioral health claims
• ensure documentation supports coding and reimbursement
• verify claim accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• process claims for Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and other payers
• monitor claim status and assist with denials, appeals, and corrections
• maintain compliance with coding guidelines and regulations
• support coding questions and updates
• use EHR and billing software
• collaborate to improve workflow and accuracy.

Why this role

High school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of healthcare billing and coding experience are required. An associate degree and coding certification are preferred; certification may be in progress.
