What you'll do

• Oversee phlebotomist team activities and coordinate coverage
• collect specimens from inpatient and outpatient patients
• interpret orders and enter tests
• identify patients and label specimens
• perform collection rounds and timed draws
• process, batch, and centrifuge specimens
• handle laboratory clerical duties, inventory, and equipment maintenance
• train new staff and verify training checklists
• support laboratory operations in the manager’s absence.
