What you'll do

• Monitor facility access
• escort individuals
• secure personal belongings
• patrol grounds and identify safety concerns
• address unauthorized individuals
• help de-escalate situations in lobby, visitation, and intake areas
• respond to emergencies and coordinate with emergency personnel
• assist with evacuations and crowd control
• investigate suspicious activity, hazards, and security incidents
• assist with fire, tornado, and safety drills, documentation, and staff training
• inspect safety equipment and report malfunctions.
