The Electrical Maintenance Technician role is fully onsite in Shelbyville, KY, with rotating 12-hour shifts: days from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM and nights from 6:30 PM to 6:00 AM. Pay is $36–$40 per hour. Wieland manufactures, processes, and distributes copper and copper alloys for industries including automotive, construction, and electronics. The technician installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains production and facility equipment to support site goals. The work includes preventive maintenance, electrical systems, PLC-controlled equipment, and VSDs, with safety and equipment reliability central to the role.

What you'll do

• Perform minor electrical building repairs and troubleshoot and repair facility machinery, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Troubleshoot PLC-controlled production equipment and VSDs
• read manuals and work orders
• diagnose, replace, or repair parts and make adjustments
• perform preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, plant facilities, and electrical systems
• use hand and power tools, electric meters, and material-handling equipment
• report faulty operations and maintain safe, orderly work areas.
