IT Project Manager, Cybersecurity and Risk Management Framework

The IT Project Manager role is onsite at JBSA Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX. The target salary range is $80,000–$110,000 per year. The role supports the IMCOM DFMWR Technology Services project and the Family, Morale, Welfare, and Recreation mission serving Soldiers and their Families. The project manager oversees cybersecurity and IT initiatives, coordinating teams, resources, schedules, and deliverables while maintaining alignment with the Risk Management Framework and government requirements. This work supports compliant, effective technology services for the project’s customers.

What you'll do

• Manage cybersecurity and IT projects end to end, including milestones, expectations, resources, and deliverables
• create functional and technical documentation
• oversee fiscal, operational, and administrative project aspects
• coordinate stakeholders, including contracting officials
• ensure contract and compliance requirements are met
• track performance metrics and report project status.

Why this role

Requires five years of project management experience with Army or other Department of War organizations and a Program Management Professional (PMP) certification. The schedule is Monday–Friday day shift, with possible evening and weekend work; travel is less than 10%. Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a NACI background check.
