Lead Excavation Technician

The Lead Excavation Technician role is onsite in Colorado Springs, CO. Compensation is $24–$27 per hour. The technician leads and performs excavation work according to project plans, specifications, and deadlines. The role coordinates with supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors while supporting safe, compliant, and efficient job-site operations.

What you'll do

• Lead and supervise the excavation crew
• operate and maintain excavation equipment
• interpret blueprints, site plans, and utility maps
• perform site preparation, trenching, grading, and backfilling
• conduct pre-dig assessments and utility locates
• follow OSHA and company safety requirements
• train crew members
• monitor site cleanliness and environmental compliance
• maintain work, materials, and equipment records.
