What you'll do

• Review, verify, and enter vendor invoices
• match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies
• determine payment timing
• process electronic payments, check runs, and credit card transactions
• maintain and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts
• respond to vendor inquiries
• analyze workflows and recommend improvements
• process and monitor EDI transactions
• communicate purchasing, receiving, or costing errors
• provide team coverage and assist with onboarding or training
• oversee work output of team members assisting with accounts payable
• perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned.
