Project Engineer — Aviation Engineering

The Project Engineer — Aviation Engineering role is onsite in Bellevue, WA. Pay is $125,000–$150,000 per year. The position supports professional engineers on aviation engineering projects. The engineer develops and reviews design documents for airport projects, helping deliver compliant plans, estimates, and construction support. The role coordinates with project managers, clients, contractors, utilities, and agencies to meet project requirements and deadlines.

What you'll do

• Develop plans, quantities, specifications, and reviews for aviation projects
• design aviation construction, drainage, utilities, rehabilitation, and safety improvements
• apply local, state, and FAA requirements
• attend client meetings as needed
• assist project managers with design oversight
• coordinate tasks and deadlines
• perform CAD drafting and Civil 3D modeling
• support construction through RFIs, submittal reviews, site visits, and design revisions
• participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and bid evaluations
• prepare reports, specifications, estimates, and bid packages
• check plans and calculations for accuracy and standards compliance.

Why this role
