What you'll do

• Work under the supervision of an MLT
• apply basic knowledge of test procedures and related disease processes
• follow safety, ethical, and procedural guidelines
• support quality-control monitoring, computer applications, instrument troubleshooting, and specimen collection and processing
• prioritize work
• assist with training and cost control
• recognize technical problems and suggest solutions
• and follow hospital and departmental policies and confidentiality requirements.
