Ski Instructor and Ski Shop Attendant

The Ski Instructor and Ski Shop Attendant role is onsite in Stowe, VT. Pay is $17 per hour plus tips and commissions. The role supports the Trapp Family Lodge Outdoor Center through winter ski instruction and shop operations. The role exists to teach ski lessons and help keep the Outdoor Center operating throughout winter. It contributes to guest experiences by providing instruction, equipment rentals and tuning, route and equipment guidance, and general center support.

What you'll do

• Teach ski lessons tailored to guests’ experience and goals
• rent skis and snowshoes
• tune Outdoor Center and guest equipment
• advise guests on routes and answer equipment questions
• shovel, clean, and tend the fire
• cover the retail desk during staff breaks
• assist with rescues.
