• inspect and operate the switch engine
• perform basic switch engine and track maintenance
• operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and hand tools safely
• maintain an organized yard
• support basic fabrication and material handling
• and handle scrap and recyclable materials according to safety and environmental guidelines.
