Direct Support Professional

What you'll do

• Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• assist with hygiene, grooming, feeding, ambulation, medical monitoring, and health-related tasks
• support medication self-administration after proper training
• encourage self-help activities
• maintain client safety
• document services
• perform light housekeeping and laundry
• plan, shop for, prepare, and serve meals
• accompany clients to appointments and transport them or run errands
• assist with toileting
• report changes in client condition or family situation.

Why this role
