What you'll do

• Provide pediatric nursing care for newborns through adolescents
• plan, coordinate, and deliver age-appropriate nursing interventions
• administer medications and IV therapy and monitor physiological changes
• support patients’ and families’ psychosocial needs
• educate patients and caregivers before and after discharge
• supervise and delegate to ancillary staff within scope
• float and cross-train to the neonatal intensive care unit as needed
• comply with hospital safety, quality, and documentation standards.
