IT/OT Technician

The IT/OT Technician role is onsite in Orange County, CA. Pay is $25–$40+ per hour depending on experience, and the posting describes a 4–6+ month assignment with possible conversion. The technician supports a Chromatography Data System migration project at a leading Greater South Orange County contract development and manufacturing organization. The role provides hands-on technical implementation and infrastructure support in a GxP-regulated laboratory. It contributes to the migration by setting up workstations and instrument connections, coordinating network infrastructure, configuring devices, and documenting installations and handover details.

What you'll do

• Install, cable, and configure laboratory PCs and client terminals
• confirm network connectivity
• assist with approved drivers and software
• connect laboratory instruments to workstations and troubleshoot setup issues
• support server and switch racking and cable organization
• coordinate cable labeling, IP assignments, and VLAN validation
• assist with domain joining and Windows configuration
• configure printers and barcode devices
• apply hardening and antivirus settings under OT team direction
• document assets and installation steps.
