Senior Commercial and Industrial HVAC Service Technician

The Senior Commercial and Industrial HVAC Service Technician role is an onsite, field-based position in Madison, AL. Compensation is $30–$55 per hour, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus. The client provides commercial and industrial HVAC services to facilities across Alabama. The technician independently diagnoses, repairs, and maintains large HVAC systems to support reliable operation for commercial and industrial customers. The work includes preventive maintenance, system testing, and customer communication, with participation in an on-call rotation approximately every five to six weeks.

What you'll do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC systems
• perform preventive maintenance
• service commercial package units ranging from 50 to 100+ tons
• troubleshoot electrical and mechanical failures
• service rooftop units, boilers, pumps, and cooling systems
• perform startups, repairs, and performance testing
• read wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
• communicate with customers
• participate in an on-call rotation approximately every five to six weeks.
