ICU Step Down RN - Onsite - Jacksonville, FL. Compensation is not specified. HCA Florida Memorial Hospital is a 450+ bed hospital. The purpose of this role is to manage patients with critical illness and vent management, respond to Code Blue within the facility, and initiate protocols and special procedures.

What you'll do

• Manage efficient flow of patients including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care, and arranging or testing and admissions.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.

What we're looking for

Education

Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required

Experience

At least 1 year of Acute Care/Hospital Registered Nurse (RN) experience is required
