The Certified Medical Assistant role is an onsite position in Panama City, FL, with a Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. schedule. Pay is $18 per hour. PanCare of Florida’s mission is to bring quality healthcare to underserved communities. Working under a licensed nurse or physician, the medical assistant provides direct patient-care support and helps keep clinic operations running smoothly. The role includes routine clinical procedures, patient preparation and education, records and referrals, and support for compliance and quality tracking.

What you'll do

• Take and record vital signs
• perform routine diagnostic tests and treatments
• collect and process specimens
• administer medication as directed
• assist clinicians during examinations and procedures
• document patient conditions and update electronic records
• prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies
• support referrals, scheduling, billing, coding, and quality-measure tracking
• maintain HIPAA confidentiality and participate in CLIA and OSHA compliance activities.
