CEQA Environmental Services Analyst

Job overview

The CEQA Environmental Services Analyst role can be performed in person or hybrid, with office options in Walnut Creek or Irvine, CA. Pay is $22–$30 per hour. FirstCarbon Solutions supports public and private development projects through environmental review and compliance work. The analyst researches environmental topics, analyzes data, and drafts sections of CEQA and NEPA documents to support project managers and technical specialists. The work helps project teams assess potential impacts, meet project requirements, and produce accurate environmental documentation.

What you'll do

• Research and analyze environmental data on land use, biological and cultural resources, air quality, noise, greenhouse gases, utilities, and related topics
• draft sections of Initial Studies, EIRs/EISs, Addenda, and Exemptions
• review site plans and technical studies
• support project managers with research and document content
• coordinate with specialists, agencies, authorities, and sub-consultants
• conduct site visits
• perform document formatting, file organization, and quality-control checks.
