What you'll do

• Prepare charts and electronic medical records before clinic sessions
• schedule appointments and monitor patient flow
• escort patients, update histories, and record vital signs and visit reasons
• perform vision and hearing screens at provider request
• assist with examinations and procedures
• perform phlebotomy and process specimens
• conduct ordered in-house tests and quality-control documentation
• maintain vaccine and medical supply inventory
• perform ordered immunizations, EKGs, and other tests
• complete referrals and follow-up calls
• clean and stock exam rooms
• document patient telephone contacts.
