Material Handler / Production Assistant — Rotating Days and Nights

The Material Handler / Production Assistant — Rotating Days and Nights role is onsite in Fayetteville, NC. Compensation is $19 per hour. The schedule rotates through four 12-hour day shifts, three days off, four 12-hour night shifts, and three days off. The role provides production support for a local manufacturing entity. The position supports safe and efficient production through packaging, material handling, warehouse and supply work, and routine equipment support. It also helps maintain records, inventory, housekeeping, and safe work areas so production and shipping needs can be met.

What you'll do

• Package and handle product safely
• support recycling or scrapping of non-standard product
• troubleshoot packaging, warehouse, and related areas
• maintain records and shift turnover logs
• perform routine mechanical tasks and minor preventive maintenance
• prepare and lock out equipment
• assist with loading and unloading supplies and products
• operate mobile equipment as capable
• maintain supplies and communicate needs
• support shipping, trailer, and housekeeping tasks
• follow safety, environmental, and record-keeping procedures
• perform weekly safety and daily area audits.
