What you'll do

• Prepare and file state, local, and federal compliance filings
• supervise tax staff and guide retail accounting staff on tax issues
• balance general ledger tax accounts
• prepare monthly sales tax returns and annual property tax returns
• review exemption certificates
• resolve customer tax issues
• prepare and enter tax credits
• conduct tax research
• respond to jurisdictional correspondence
• assist with sales/use tax audits.
