The Behavioral Direct Support Professional / Caregiver role is onsite in Janesville, WI. Pay is $17–$19 per hour, with $19–$21 per hour on weekends. Dungarvin provides person-centered support intended to help people live as independently as possible, with dignity, choice, and respect. The role provides individualized support to adults with mental health, intellectual and developmental, and/or physical disabilities. It helps people pursue personal goals, build life skills, participate in their communities, and maintain comfort, safety, dignity, and independence.

What you'll do

• Provide individualized support to adults with mental health, intellectual and developmental, and/or physical disabilities
• support skill development, personal goals, and community participation
• provide encouragement and guidance with daily activities and life skills
• assist with personal care when needed
• respond appropriately to behavioral or mental health needs
• attend community activities and appointments
• complete service and incident documentation
• complete Handle with Care and other required training.

Why this role

Part-time openings are available on first, second, and third shifts. Prior experience in human services or related settings is preferred but not required. A valid driver’s license and successful background clearance are required.
