What you'll do

• Operate the vehicle according to safety standards and state law
• follow assigned routes and schedules
• drive students to and from extracurricular activities
• inspect the van and report needed repairs
• report accidents, damage, injuries, and mechanical failures
• maintain vehicle and passenger records
• keep the van clean and fueled
• adapt to students’ needs
• supervise boarding, exiting, and street crossing
• communicate with teachers and caregivers
• instruct students on safe riding
• inspect emergency equipment
• attend required training
• work irregular hours as needed.
