Residential Advisor (Full-Time/Part-Time)

Job overview

The Residential Advisor (Full-Time/Part-Time) role is onsite in Indian Mound, TN, with pay of $17 per hour. Project Transition’s mission is to empower people with behavioral health conditions, substance use disorders, and/or developmental disabilities to live the lives they choose in the community. The advisor supports residents’ safety, daily living, recovery environment, and medication self-administration. The role documents interactions and progress, supports treatment-plan interventions, facilitates assigned groups, and helps residents build daily living, communication, and social skills.

What you'll do

• Oversee and inspect residences
• provide activities-of-daily-living support
• support and document medication self-administration
• complete residence, medication-room, van, and refrigerator logs
• document interventions and progress
• complete incident reports and progress notes
• facilitate assigned groups and document them
• support member transportation and screenings when assigned
• coach daily living activities
• support socialization, communication, conflict resolution, and de-escalation
• assist with meal planning and preparation
• encourage health and home safety
• support public transportation navigation
• attend training, supervision, and program meetings.
