Compensation is $192,600–$289,000 per year. The Principal, Gen AI Transformation is an onsite role based in San Diego, CA. This role exists to define and scale AI-first engineering practices that improve developer productivity, software quality, and delivery velocity. The leader will translate emerging AI capabilities into secure, production-grade engineering workflows across embedded software and platform systems.

What you'll do

• Define and drive the GenAI transformation roadmap for engineering productivity.
• Lead AI-native and agentic SDLC initiatives.
• Partner with GenAI platform teams to build reusable agents, skills, and tools.
• Identify high-value embedded workflows and scale adoption.
• Establish secure and responsible AI practices.
• Define metrics and dashboards to track AI adoption and productivity gains.
• Serve as a technical thought leader and executive-facing advisor.
